What are your thoughts?
I have a decade of experience in HR, launching SAP SuccessFactors in 2 companies. All of the companies I worked with, followed HR Best Practice.
A company talent Acquisition representative in UK informed me my skills were not transferable since my experience was in a South Asian Country.
My view, is that it is down to an individual recruiter organisation to say what skills are transferable and which are not. Sometimes organisations are very specific and require both sector and country experience to consider them transferable. other organisations look more broadly at what was actually achieved before looking at something like sector or country. Sadly there is little you can do about that apart from keep applying and hope that somebody recognises the skills you've achieved and have they could be put to good use in the UK. good luck
