I am performing internal HR audits of employee files and have highlighted a number staff that have missing documents (i.e. Right to Work, ID and Proof of Address documents), and in some cases they have them but they were not verified by the person scanning them into HR.
As a result, we are requesting these staff members to produce the documents again so that we can complete the checks again and to ensure that we can demonstrate the corrective action taken to ensure we are keeping children safe in education.
One member of staff who we have requested Proof of Address from has advised us that she only has a correspondence address (and not a residential address) as she currently lives in a caravan on a boatyard.
What options do I have or what steps should I be taking to ensure we can fulfil the requirement for her to provide the correct proof of address?
Thank you.
