The ESFA have recently made changes to the timings when an Employer/Provider is required to identify and gain commitment from the organisation that will perform their Apprenticeship End Point Assessment (EPA).
Currently there tends to be little understanding of this final, and yet so vital a part of the apprenticeship. For many, the process sits there and waits for someone to trigger the discussion which ids often way too late in the process. The problem here is that the EPA will independently assess the Apprentice via various methods to assure the ESFA that they have met the Knowledge Skills & Behaviours outlined in the Standard. So, this new initiative will hopefully ensure that all those on their Apprenticeship journey will be developing in line with expectations and posses the evidence to prove it during their EPA.
Remember no successful completion of EPA - No Apprentice Certificate..
