Re training from PA into EQ/Coaching

Hi, 

I am an experienced PA and Studio Manager and want to move into work that uses EQ and Coaching. 

Researching these types of roles means I am searching for a needle in a haystack... I would welcome any suggestions of short courses, books or blogs to read on these subjects.. 

Coaching - what type of coach? Inspirational and giving people confidence to do their work well. Not sure I want to be a life coach.

And i think EQ will help with the above. 

I keep getting recommended to look at HR roles.. but as I have always had dire HR departments in the companies I have worked for and never experienced an honest decent HR department.. I am put off. 

I look forward to hearing your advice and receiving guidance.

    Really sorry that you've never experienced an honest decent HR department - I can only hope that is a very, very small sample as, for me, I have never experienced a dishonest indecent HR department.

    I would hope that would be the overwhelming experience of contributors to these forums, especially as the forums represent the chartered profession!
