4 Is there refresher HR courses I can take

Hi there all,

I previously did a Dilpoma course CIPD Human Resources Level 3 and Level 5. I finished my course in 2020. My role at that time did not have a HR function and in Summer 2021 I changed roles to Recruitment/HR Administrator which is 60+ percent Recruitment. Today my manager emailed me to say - Do I feel you could do with running through some training aspects of the HR side of things, i.e new starter onboarding, sickness/holidays. Seem to be a few things falling through the cracks.

So I am wondering if anyone could point in the right direction on some courses to refresh and build my skill and knowledge base?

Any guidance and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Might be worth signing up for some free webinars because they are really good for covering key topics like onboarding etc if you didn't want to do a specific course. A lot of places like Moorepay, Work Nest, HR Duo, Talos 360 etc do good ones that help me refresh. Sometimes I just type in HR webinar on youtube and see what comes up for the recordings!

ACAS have some free e-learning (elearning.acas.org.uk/). They also have webinars and in-person training. Is your employer willing to pay for your training?
