Moving into HR - guidance required

Hello,

I would like to move into HR, does anyone have any advice? What qualifications are required.

My background in a corporation tax specialist, having completed the HMRC graduate programme. I studied for a degree in tax as part of the programme, having previously read Geography at Southampton University.

any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated

Hi Harriett

it is a very competitive area - don't be afraid to take temporary work to get your foot in the door if your circumstances allow.

I found (a LONG time ago) that once 'HR' was on my CV life got a lot easier.
