Adding value - Interview question

Hi all

I have an interview for a role and they have gave me some questions to prepare answers for.

One of the questions is: 

How would you add value in the context of the wider People team?

I can think of how I can add value to the overall organisation, but struggling to relate to the wider People team.

For context, the people team consists of subject specialists such as recruitment, organisational development, wellbeing etc.

Would love some initial ideas to get my thoughts flowing..

    No problem. What you are going for is somewhat above my professional level, maybe something like: Supporting the core values of the People Team, enabling them to develop their roles as individuals as well as within a purpose driven unit.
