CV review on CV360, also LinkedIn profile

I've been trying out my two-page CV on CV360, but I can only get it to 87%. If I try to alter it, the percentage goes down, so I am thinking it may need to go to 3 pages.

On another matter, I've started using the LinkedIn Green 'Open to Work' banner and have been spammed by all sorts of people trying to sell all sorts of kooky stuff, plenty of fake recruiters, and I had one message about how my LinkedIn profile had three serious errors. I contacted the person, and they said they would make suggestions for free. If you do use LinkedIn and use the open to work banner, be aware that few people will genuinely help you. Cvwriters will give you free bits of info to sabotage your LinkedIn profile, so take whatever you are told with a pinch of salt.

  • HI Paul, I don't know CV360 but although the recommendation is to keep your CV to two pages, I also know it needs to be as long as it makes sense to be and if a good quality CV trips into three pages, as long as it is three quality pages that's okay.

Thanks for the information on the Open to Work banner. I am regularly open to work, that's how my business works, but I have mixed feelings about using the banner partly because of the amount of people on LinkedIn and the amount of sales spam I already get. LinkedIn admin can take up a serious amount of time and the more people there are on the platform the more chances for scams, spam and sales.

I definitely think you need a cracking LinkedIn profile though. Thanks for the tips.
