3 Level 3 or Level 5 Certificate/Diploma

Hi all

I have recently completed a Level 3 diploma (not CIPD accredited, through another online provider)

I am now looking to get CIPD qualified, but not sure if I need to start with the Level 3 or if I can start at Level 5? I'm also looking at courses which are 100% online, my full time job (non HR) does not allow me the flexibility to attend workshops so need a course provider where workshops are not mandatory.

Can any recommend whether I should start with the Certificate or Diploma please?

Hi Jayne

I would have a chat with the provider(s) to see what they say since you have done the level 3, you might be able to do the level 5 certificate/diploma.

I'm currently doing the level 3 certificate in HR with Avado and they do give a good service and the tutor I have is very helpful. I'm looking at doing the level 3 diploma at the moment but I'm also looking at the level 5 certificate.

I would have a look at Avado (certificate) or ICS (certificate & diploma):

Thank you for your advice. I have since spoken to a couple of different course providers, and have signed up to the Level 5 certificate with Avado, which is due to start in July.
