Level 5 CIPD reading materials?

Good Morning,

I have just started my CIPD Lv 5 via home learning college... can anyone point me in the right direction for reading materials ??

I am struggling to get started as the course has no teaching on it- it's all self learn so any help and advise would be great.

As a starting point you can see what the core texts are by going to shop.cipd.co.uk/.../textbooks - Intermediate Level. This should then point you in the direction of further useful texts etc.
I'm doing Level 5 Mixed mode and they provide recommended reading lists - I thought all courses did?!
