There are sample letters on MAKE UKs website www.makeuk.org/.../covid-19-furlough-letter-to-employee including one for employees that have to continue to work.
To be honest I am pretty disappointed that CIPD have not got a set of standards to access unless I have missed them - its times like this when we could actually get some value for the membership fee!

Thank you Sarah, this is exactly what I needed. I am also drafting a letter and I am using XpertHR Temporary policy and Information letter to start the conversations.
Question to the group - if you have more than 20 employees to be put on furlough status and/or on reduced horus, are you considering collective consultations?
