Level 3 or level 5

Hello,

I am currently a Clinic Manager but have about 8 years experience in clinic manager and office Manager roles. I have a lots of experience in People management and two years ago I completed a level 3 in leadership and management with ILM.

Having not worked in an actual HR department would I struggle starting at level 5 or will my previous experience help?

I am expecting on completion of studies to acheive a mid level role in HR or a combined office manager/ HR support role.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Having completed Level 3 myself (considering I also have a degree) I found it too high-level to be challenging, and ended up wishing I'd started at Level 5. I don't have broad experience in HR, just recruitment, but was still able to complete all of the modules without any trouble. My advice would be to go for Level 5.
