I have been working in various ER specialist roles for the past 7 years, however I am now ready to move away from ER and go into more generalist roles but I am really struggling to get interviews or get an offer. I have also been applying for roles that seem to be 50-60% ER with other HR duties but still no joy. Can anyone recommend how I can break out of this specialism. Getting wider experience from my workplace is not possible as people do not share knowledge or opportunities to work on different areas.

I feel stuck as I can’t get wider experience where I am or get offered roles I apply for. Any advice?
