I have had to take a 3 year career break due to my autistic children and I am coming to the end of my level 5 diploma, which I have really enjoyed. 

I am keen to continue to self fund/proceed with my level 7 at the beginning of 2022, with a view to also going on to hopefully complete a masters, however my children's dependency on me makes it difficult to return to work whilst progressing my studies. 

I have worked at HR Advisor level for several years, with some general team managerial experience in my role prior to that and just wondered if anyone had studied the Level 7 without being employed in an HR managerial role - and if it was a feasible thing to do.

Alternatively I wondered if it might be a good option to seek a mentor to support me for my level 7?

I would be very grateful for everyone's thoughts.
