I worked in a start up accountancy firm, it was a great opportunity to build the culture, ways of working and focus on engagement. And I would definitely do it again. I suppose it depends on what your expectations are. We had no managers, so I was doing the work that in an established company managers would do when it comes to performance issues etc. The impact I had was positive and greater here than most other companies I have worked for.
