Hi People Profession Network,
I'm a HR professional looking to invest in some further training soon. I'm a real advocate for learning and want to invest in studying towards a new qualification in the new year.
Here are my current credentials:
- Chartered MCIPD
- Agile Project Management Practitioner
- Been doing self-directed learning via LinkedIn Learning since 2018
Here are my drivers:
- Want to learn something useful that I will tap into regularly as a HR professional - e.g. I use Agile regularly when running HR projects
- Want to boost my profile and credbility - e.g. I studied Agile so I could gain credibility when working for an IT consultancy, I was able to talk the same "language" as my technical stakeholders
- Gain a broader set of skills
My day job:
- I work in Talent Acquisition but come from a generalist background.
- My job is hybrid consisting of 80% TA and 20% OD
- I connect the dots between recruitment, career development and learning and development
- I also act as investigating officer in ER matters
I am keen to know which other qualifications outside of the CIPD, HR professionals have found helpful.
Some of the key quals I have looked at include CMI, ILM, and Insights.
Your thoughts are welcomed! Thank you so much in advance
