Studying for Level 7

Hi,

I have 10 years experience in HR, as an HR Assistant. I also have some experience in learning and development which is useful.

I was wondering if anyone has experience of studying a level 7 qualification whilst full time in a job, training for HR Business Partner or similiar? I know when I studied for Level 5, and working full time (not being able to do it when working, it was so difficult). I haven't really used my Level 5 yet, as I changed to learning and development

Presumably with Level 7, you get chances to re-sit the assignments if need be. I am wondering if you would have to study a lot when not working?

If anyone has any insight or experience, i appreciate.

  • Hi Cheryl - I work with one of the Platinum status CIPD study centres. We recommend a minimum of 8 hours a week and give learners a 3 year learning contract as standard and you can go faster if you wish. We find there are a number of benefits of working more slowly. We cover the full syllabus in live webinars and small friendly groups with 121 coaching and of course your own self study before you submit your assignment so you should pass as long as you put the work in and have the relevant experience but you can retake a unit if needs be.
