Level 5?

Hi. I am interested in studying for CIPD level 5. I work full time so would need to study in my own time. I’m not in a specific HR role at the moment but have chosen HR as the career path I’d like to follow. At present I work in resourcing & possibly learning & development going forward, but don’t wish to specialise in L&D, as I’d like to study HR & keep my options open. I am worried about signing up as I’m frightened of paying out lots of money & choosing the wrong provider. I am happy to undertake the distance learning option but need the security of being able to access face to face support also. Any advice & reassurances on the best options would be much appreciated.   • Hi Kerry, There are a number of options and it can be a bit confusing figuring out which one is going to suit you best! It's worth asking a couple of different providers to talk you though how they deliver the programme and what support is offered. You can also ask if you can have a taster of the course so you can get a really good feel for it before you sign up.

    Based on what you've said above it sounds like you need a distance learning option which is more person centered rather than an elearning approach. Of the main private providers Acacia Learning has the most workshop & interactive time if that's what you're looking for - acacialearning.co.uk/.../
