I have recently started studying CIPD Level 5, and I am stuck with Unit 1. Can someone please assist me with what I should include in the first assignment as I feel like I’m a bit all over the place currently.

I was on here looking for help with unit 2 (which I skipped and have now had to come back to!) when I saw your message. Here is my contents page from my summative assignment for unit 1 - I am also studying with ICS. I'm slow though so I should warn you this is from 2018, it might have changed!
For the elements in 1.4 use the CIPD profession map tool to identify elements to discuss - use ones you feel show a sliding scale of understanding e.g. you know nothing about talent planning but have lots of experience in org design.
