Hi Fiona, I am presuming you are commencing a level 3 course? if you are, it will depend on the units you are studying as it can vary depending on the learning centre. Ideally you should be supplied with a reading list by the learning centre. For example when I taught and assessed CIPD level 3 one of the key books was "Introduction to Human Resource Management: A Guide to HR in Practice" by Charles Leatherbarrow and Janet Fletcher.

Hi Fiona, I also bought the book mentioned above when I studied my level 3. Although I did find it quite hard to understand some of it being a new, older student.
No problem.. What I would also suggest is that these can be very expensive books. You may want to look at some online auction sites as past students may be selling books off. Hope you enjoy the course.
