ER qualification

Hi All.

I have my CIPD Level 5 qualification and looking for next career step. Does anyone have any advice?

Currently a HR Advisor after years in recruitment and unsure in a Level 7 ER qualification or a Prince 2 qualification would best best to advance my career. My aim is to be a BP with responsibility for strategy. I currently do a huge amount of administrative Project Management and also ER work - but cant face doing both at once!

If there is another option that anyone can advise, please do let me know.

I haven't really come across many/any HR professionals with a Prince II qualification and certainly never really seen it in any adverts. Whilst it might be useful in some niche roles I wouldn't see it as being essential / man focus for developing a career.

If its HR then experience and L7 would be the way I would go

I have my Prince 2 - though probably lapsed by now. Gained it as was involved in a few big projects as a Project Manager a few years ago.

:-) I didn't say no one had it :-) just not many and unlikely to open huge numbers of doors
