Dress Code for HR Volunteer Meeting

Hi, I have been invited to a meeting for the HR Volunteer Role at a local Charity. Thus I am wondering whether the dress code (female) should be business suits or smart casual?

If this is in effect an "interview" I would always go business unless it was clearly stated otherwise.

You can rarely be overdressed for an "interview"

If it were more like an open day I would probably go very smart casual
