Unsure of next path; Reward vs HR analyst

Hello, my name is Yasmin and this is my first post, I hope someone can help Relaxed️ I enjoyed data analysis in previous HR admin /workforce officer roles, so I took the plunge to up-skill as an analyst in a business intelligence function. However I think it’s almost a bit too data heavy and I would prefer a mix of data/interpretation and project work for my next role. Reward and HR analyst have been suggested to me, however I am wondering if these will also be really data heavy/solo work? I am missing teamwork and collaboration, as my analyst work feels quite siloed. If anyone has advice in this area, it will be most appreciated! Thank you, Yasmin

  • Hello Jackie, thank you so much for your response! That is really helpful, on many levels. Good food for thought, especially the generalist HR option, like you say you can look for embedded teams, however still focussing on your main strengths. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond! Kind regards, Yasmin
