I’m new to all things HR and currently don’t work in the sector, though the role I now do has some elements of HR to it.
I am due to complete my CIPD level 3 and always intended, once I qualified, to look for work as a HR assistant.
Given the current job climate, am I being naive to think anyone would consider my application?
Would appreciate any input on this.

If you do a search you will find that people asking questions about breaking into HR or getting that first job is probably one of the most asked questions. That means there is a huge amount of very valuable information already that you can read and reflect upon.
My main advice would dont expect the L3 to be a magic ticket - it will be tough. Its achievable but very tough and you will have to be very resilient.
