Entry level

Hello,

I completed my Level 3 qualification a year ago. I have attended several interviews for entry level roles since and unfortunately though I was successful for one role, the company decided to restructure instead. The feedback is consistently that other candidates have more experience.

Although I don't work directly in HR currently, many aspects of my role are HR related (induction preparation, advertising roles, annual leave management). I've tailored my CV to highlight these areas and I am also keeping a record of any examples that may be used in interviews.

I also attend CIPD student events when I can.

However I was wondering if anybody had any advice on what else I can do to secure an entry level role?

Many thanks in advance

  • Hi Amy!

Start writing a blog, preferably about specific HR area...
    Benefits:
    You will learn a lot
You will start building a brand around your name...

There is a difference when you future employer googles your name and you are anonymous or you have 50 articles about career planing, for example

    Good luck
