Using my Title after my name in my job

Hi,

I just started my new job as HR and recruitment manager for my company but I’m wondering if it’s old fashioned or if it’s good practice to always attach my title (assoc.cipd) in all my letters and emails.

is it wierd? Cause I’m a bit shy about it so it doesn’t come off the wrong way seeing that i hold the highest qualification in the company. Every other person is level 5 or 3. what should I do

  • To be honest, it might look a big flashy, but you have a personal brand to build and look for your career. So, places where you think people should know and would otherwise not get to know- you should (e.. writing to external lawyer). I would avoid in every email every day as keeping crisp. In full signatures, you may first time when writing to someone- my 2 cents. All the best.
