HR System

Hi, I wonder if anyone can recommend a HR system, including payroll, for a Company that currently has 1200 employees, but growing over next couple of years. Currently we have a very manual way of managing our people. Thanks.

  • Hi Jo, I can thoroughly recommend CINTRA. we have just over 2000 employees and this system has been a lifesaver. It can be divided into sections so a cost conscious company only needs to purchase what is required. Would recommend giving them a look
  • Hi Jo

I'm not sure whether you're still looking for recommendations for a new HR system or not, but just in case you are I thought I'd get in touch. I work for a HR consultancy, specialising in HR systems, and we offer system selection and implementation services. We take away the pain of having to research the different providers and what they can offer you by taking and understanding your requirements and doing it all for you. We can also assist in the internal implementation of the system you choose.

If you're interested in finding out more, please pop me an email: sarah.phillips@people-force.co.uk

    Best wishes, Sarah
  • Hello Jo,

Hope you are keeping well. My post may be coming rather late I fear. However, if not, I will advice the following steps before engaging a HR System provider.
    1. Business needs: Understand and document your business needs that directly or indirectly
will be impacted by your future HR system.
    2. Map out your current HR business processes (Identify shortcomings and also future-proof it).
    3. Map out the details of Items 1 & 2 above using an analysis tool e.g. MOSCOW Analysis.
    4. Importantly, understand the key factors of your organisational culture; you would not want the future system to determine, change or govern your organisational culture. Rather, it should enhance or support it.
    5. Develop and send out RFIs (Request for Information) & subsequently RFQs (Request for Quotes) to HRIS providers and implementers.

    All the best Jo.

    Hi Jo
Our payroll agency has been acquired and we're being migrated to Cintra sometime over the next 8 months. We are an SME of 60, Cintra looks more suited to larger organisations but we'll see. Are you able to share any info on their pricing structure re payroll please? Is it done on a £ per head per month basis or a wider subscription to their software? (No doubt they'll tell me in due course but getting a bit ahead of the game would be good!).
    Many thanks
