A new one for me so reaching out for advice as the government website is difficult to navigate!

In summary our head office is in the UK with sites across Europe. We want to provide an opportunity for a French colleague who wants to improve their English by providing them with a placement at a site in England to shadow colleagues for up to 4 weeks. Whilst not directly doing their normal work activity, they will be with English colleagues that do the same job the French colleague does.

I cannot for the life of me get to grips on whether the individual will need a visa to do this. Technically they will be working and will be paid their normal salary through the French business.

Does anyone have a simple to use guide or can point me in the direction of where I can get sensible information?
