Revamp Induction

Hi all,

We are looking to revamp our company induction, make it a bit more exciting. I have been given 'If money was no object' so am looking for ideas that might be completely out there, something fun and new?

I would really appreciate your feedback and ideas.

Many thanks

  • Our H&S Manager is currently looking at having a video going around the site and highlighting important machinery, having colleagues explaining some of the H&S rules etc - she was inspired by one of our managing directors making a video for people returning to the the office after covid.
  • The purpose of an induction training program is to teach new hires the most important things that they need to know to begin working, not to teach them all there is about their new job (unless, of course, their new job can be covered in a few days' lessons).
  • Induction is not just about the new joiner, but to check the alignment of the current practice to your organisations value and vision and the business needs. One part is the employees perspective and the other is business. You need to ensure there is balance between both when revamping your onboarding strategy.
