7 Software implementation

Hi, firstly apologies if this is in the wrong place. Can anyone point me in the right direction for guidance on how to implement new software, not in relation to how to choose but how to tackle the actual implementation?

I've always had the luxury of being able to pay for an "integration" consultant to plan the implementation and to intervene and support at critical moments both with an internal team and the supplier. I've always found it was money well spent so as to avoid basic problems and issues that you can encounter if you are not familiar with the process. There are plenty of good people around......

Hi Andrea - what software?

Surely the vendor can support you through the implementation (if you have paid for that). This shouldn't only be your job IMHO.

Thank you for your reply we will have a project team from the software provider as part of the implementation process, I just wanted to get ahead really with an idea of the process. Not that I'm being impatient at all of course. Thanks again.
