CIPD Level 3 or 5

Hi, 

I have been working as a HR Administrator for a year now and i am unsure as to whether i should go in at CIPD Level 3 or 5? This is my first HR job/experience, i have a degree in History

  • Hi Erin, I have only been in HR for 2 years after being a sales manager for 20 years and I bypassed the level 3 straight into level 5. If you are already in HR, do the level 5 Diploma
  • Hi Erin, I agree with Cliff. I started my Level 3 when I was in a HR Support role and by the time I finished it was very quickly surpassed by my work-based knowledge having moved into a new role. Unless you are perfectly happy in the HR Support level and would like to stay in this type of role for the foreseeable future I would suggest Level 5.
