Working in Emerging Talent: programme design, skills, connections & everything in between

Hi Everyone

I hope you’re all having a good week!

After moving on from HRBP (Generalist work), I’m deepening my focus and building my long-term career in Emerging Talent / Early Careers Space, whether that’s early careers, graduate schemes, apprenticeships, internships or youth development programmes, and I’d love to connect with others already working in this space or even have a chat over a coffee. Its an area I'm very passionate about.

I’m really keen to learn from those who’ve been designing, delivering or leading these initiatives or even have their own cohort groups within their industries that they manage/coordinate:
  • How do you approach designing your programmes from the ground up? What frameworks, research or principles guide you?
  • What does your end-to-end process look like,  from identifying needs and stakeholder alignment, to building content, delivery and measuring impact?
  • What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced, and what’s made the difference for you in building programmes that truly work?
For me, this is about more than just getting things done, I want to hone my skills, contribute meaningfully, and stay in this space long-term. I’m ready to bounce ideas around, share what I’m learning, and help where I can, while picking up the wisdom and practical approaches you’ve built.

I’d be so grateful to hear:
  • Who’s already working in Emerging Talent/Early careers space?
  • What does your programme design journey look like?
  • Would anyone be open to a quick chat or being a sounding board as I develop my approach?

Thanks so much in advance! :)
