Re-thinking HR/L&D models to create thriving dynamics for the (digital) future of work

Hi,

I wanted to pose a few questions today:

What do L&D and HR models need to transform into, to become more meaningful and cross-functional, unified platforms for a thriving (digital) economy and healthier corporate culture?  

This was prompted by an article I came across today on 'silo-mentality'.

It still baffles me how much of  'silo-thinking' is still alive and well; despite the obvious business needs that require to break down these outdated barriers (aka mindsets) and move towards a more integrated, symbiotic way of doing business.

What is your experience with silo-mentality or, the overcoming of it?
