EDI practitioners may be interested in a Zoom-based workshop hosted by Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, showcasing how unions have been working with members and employers to support neurodivergent members.

Importantly, the workshop also considers what unions can do to extend their capacity, especially in terms of developing better understandings of what power and voice at work for neurodivergent looks like, and how gender intersects with neurodiversity and power and voice.

Our research (copies available on request) indicates positive and productive employment relations come from employers working with unions on neurodiversity (case example UK rail industry).

We would really love to see some EDI/HR/IR practitioners come along and learn what is happening but more importantly to help shape the future of such import work.
