3 Any experiences of Florida's 'Stop WOKE Act'?

Hi All,

We've been asked to run some online training on equality and unconscious bias for an organisation with offices in Europe and US. Some of the US staff are based in Florida where the 'Stop WOKE Act' places some limits on diversity training. I understand the content of the legislation but wonder whether anyone here can share any recent experiences of 'the dos and don'ts' of doing something similar. Thanks

Ensuring the training is voluntary not mandatory... and non-attendance not disadvantaging an employee seem to be key.

We also had a longish thread a while ago about staff having to attend a course similar course where staff from some minority ethnic group here, were being asked/told to attend diversity training. In this case it wasn't to teach them or change their beliefs, it was around how to be non discriminatory in the workplace which is obviously different. Perhaps that thread might be relevant.??
