EA with exemptions from CIPD modules?

Hi all,

Hoping to be able to get some insight here. Through a long and very convoluted story, I have 4 completed modules of my L5 Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development, I'm not in a role that supports the time to academically complete my studies unfortunately, and a second job counts out my evenings and weekends.

I will be applying for the Associate level EA, can I use my completed modules to count towards the EA, essentially reducing what I need to do for the assessment itself?

  • Hi Fran, unfortunately qualification modules do not count for the Experience Assessment (EA), as EA is based upon work experienced gained whereas qualifications completed - or part completed - are based upon knowledge gained.
