If employing on an FTC with a contract start date from mid August start of term 2021 and with contract end date of 30 June 2022 (end of term), and the successful candidate is on scale rate £41k, what gross amount are they paid for the contract ? -  the £41k, or 10.5/12 x £41k given the contract ends ahead of the summer break?? By writing the FTC contract up to end June 2022 have they been done out of ~1.5 months pay ie 1.5/12 x £41k ?

They think they are getting £41k. Help...
