Investors in People Award

Hi,

I would be very interested to hear from a multi-academy trust who has gone through the process of the Investors in People Accreditation.  If you have any tips or advice on the process, the cost, the work involved and any pitfalls - I would be most grateful.

Many thanks

Elaine

  • I don't work within a multi academy trust but our business does have a platinum award for Investors in People (so top 2%) and the amount of work is substantial and shouldn't be under estimated. It related to nearly a full time role for a couple of months and bring in a number of other people from the business to be interviewed.

If your considering the cost and amount of time involved you should first ask yourself why you want the accreditation in my opinion. You may find it more beneficial to invest in your culture and people first.

Thank you for your response and congratulations on the Platinum award!!

Many people have moved away from IiP and would echo Aluns question about being sure why you are doing it.
