Probation Dismissal of teacher during Covid

We have a teacher who was about to fail her probationary period - the meeting was arranged for the Monday that schools all ended up closing (23 March) Needless to say, nothing has happened since. Our SMT are now keen to move this on and proceed with the probationary review meeting with a view to ending employment.

My query is whether we are within our rights to go ahead with this, given that it will be a dismissal -it would have to be a video call meeting given current circumstances. I know there is a lot of info about not continuing with disciplinary/capability procedures during this time (which the teaching unions have backed) but I don't know whether we'd be ok with probation. If we leave until September, the outcome will be no different.

Any advice gratefully received...

Thanks
