Pension schemes in independent schools

Hi

I'm looking to hear from those of you who either don't have or are leaving TPS in your independent school. Do you have alternative pension providers you'd recommend and what level of employer / employee contribution do you typically make?

  • This is certainly a live topic across the sector at the moment. The main scheme which seems to be developing as an alternative is APTIS, which I'm sure you've seen already. There are also quite a lot of financial advisers offering support with identifying alternative schemes and relevant costs/benefits.

    I'm going to the ISBA HR conference next week, and will be doing some more anecdotal research on this subject there.
