I work for an international schools group on the professional development side of things. I'm looking for some views from anyone who has ever considered L&D accreditation.  On the one hand, our staff (mainly teachers) are really keen for something like that to happen, but on the other hand it is really difficult to find an accreditation body that would fit the bill for teachers following different rules around the world. 

Has anyone else ever considered accreditation? What did you decide and why? I'm interested in hearing from people who have decided for and against going for it, so please do share if you can.
