Can someone please help with clarity around the topic of union facilities fees.
- Is this a mandatory/statutory payment to be made by employers?
- How does this factor in with union membership fees? eg: can trade union represent member in the event that employer does not pay into facilities fees?
- What is the breakdown between union membership fees and facilities fees? Are they linked?
- Are there any schools or MAT's out there that has decided not to pay into facility fees?
I'd be very grateful for any input/practices that could be shared with me from colleagues in other schools or MAT's.
