Please could someone offer some advice on the finer details of directed time?

I have a situation whereby a primary teacher was given a timetable at the beginning of the academic year setting out directed time.  However, there were some errors in that the Principal forgot to put on one of the parents evenings, and added up the hours incorrectly. Now the errors have been identified we want to make the necessary corrections.

I have looked at the STPD and The Key to try and find any rules about changing directed time but I can't find anything. 

Is there a minimum notice period or is it just a case of being reasonable?  Can a teacher refuse a change once a timetable has been agreed?
