MAT Support Staff Performance Review Process

I work for a school that is currently under the LA but may soon be applying to become a MAT (with partner schools). Either way, we are reviewing our performance management system and specifically the process by which support staff qualify for a discretionary one-off additional payment based on their performance.

Is anybody willing to share what they currently use? At the moment ours consists of the LA process plus our own protocols.

    I will have a look for you in my suite of policies, however, you can essentially do your own thing as a MAT/Academy as long its in a policy (which I am sure you know). My advice is less is more to provide as much flexibility as possible. Does your new MAT intend on keeping TU recognition? That may be a sticking point if you choose to drastically change from the LA policy.
