One of the schools that I work with have a filled a role with a teacher who is in their ECT year. The contract is a permanent role, and comes with a standard 6 month probation period. I don't know if I'm over thinking this, but I just wanted to check whether there was any reason that an ECT teacher could not be managed through the probation period...I believe the reviewer will need to really bare in mind, that this person is still at the beginning over their career when carrying out the review... any thoughts?
