We are in the process of reviewing our sick pay thresholds. We don’t use the STPCD and are looking for examples of “other” schemes used in schools.
Our thresholds are currently
First 6 months (during probation) - max 10 days half pay
Post 6 months up to first year - 25 days full pay
Second year service - 8 weeks full and 8 weeks half pay
Third year service and beyond - 10 weeks full and 10 weeks half pay
SSP paid where eligible
Any examples would be gratefully received
