Hi Samantha, I am not sure there are any accredited yet. We have decided to start on the basis of in person manual checks in September to give us time to investigate competence and cost. With costs being quoted between £1.50 per check and £40 per check, I would want to do a detailed tender process to understand exactly what we get for the money (some providers may do disclosure checks too but we do not need many and we are Scottish so the disclosure process is different) AND whether they have a good understanding of the HE Sector. The statutory excuse still rests with us so if the IDS does a poor job then we still take the hit!
