Hi, you need an enhanced dbs check for all schools.

I wouldn't expect a s128 check to be required as that's for roles that are involved in management. It's usually governors and SLT.

For a TA, all other checks that you'd expect in a school role however - so:
photographic ID,
proof of address,
birth certificate,
qualifications,
medical,
two references,
overseas check,
DBS check,
barred list check,
prohibition from teaching check,
disqualification from childcare check (if working with under 8s),
employment history check
- plus the new online searches requirement.

Quite a few, even without the S128!, and all needing to be in place and evidenced before the start date!
