Evolving hybrid working

My organisation have had hybrid working in place for the last 18months with people who are office based coming in c2 days per week. We didn't make any contractual changes and as well as hybrid we have people who have to work on site because of their particular role. We are now reviewing our approach. Rather than focus on number of days, we are focusing on what activities are best done on site. This will inform our hybrid policy and how we create a different type of office space ie less desks and more collaborative spaces. I would like to understand if anyone has done this and what has and hasn't worked. Also any creative thinking re evolving hybrid working.
