Flexible working

Hi, Is there a statutory requirement on how May review is required for flexible working? Our policy doesn’t say how many review period is required and how long the review period should be for, I think an ideal flexible working review period should be 6 months. Also is there an statutory requirement that after 12 months it should become a permanent change? Thanks

  • From my experience, I would say depending on the circumstances and basis on which flexible working is requested. A review can be held at 3, 6, 9 or 12 month period. This discussion would need to happen with an employee and manager who will be more aware of this. As HR this can be monitored and support the manager on this.
